Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of teacher empowerment in improving the quality of education by focusing on case studies of the implementation of the Independent School initiative. Teacher empowerment is a key aspect in efforts to improve the quality of education, and the Independent Schools initiative has become an important effort in exploring the potential of teachers and enabling them to be more active in learning and curriculum development. This research uses a case study method to investigate teacher empowerment practices in schools that have implemented the Independent School concept.

The research results show that teacher empowerment plays an important role in improving the quality of education. Through the Independent School initiative, teachers have the opportunity to take the initiative in lesson planning, curriculum development, and school decision making. Empowering teachers also influences their motivation and performance, and helps create a more interactive and participatory learning environment. These results underline the importance of continuing to encourage efforts to empower teachers as a strategic step in improving the quality of education.

This research provides valuable insight into the practice of teacher empowerment through the implementation of the Independent Schools initiative. The results can serve as a guide for educational institutions and policy makers in their efforts to improve the quality of education through teacher empowerment.
