Integrasi Nilai-Nilai Keislaman dalam Kurikulum Merdeka untuk Meningkatkan Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah Dasar

This research discusses the Integration of Islamic Values in the Context of the Merdeka Curriculum in Elementary Schools, focusing on two main dimensions: the Islamic Aspect in the Curriculum and Learning Materials Containing Islamic Values. The library research method is employed to analyze relevant literature, textbooks, and academic journals aligned with the research objectives. The research findings indicate that, despite efforts in integrating Islamic values, there is still room for improvement in identifying the Islamic aspects in the curriculum and deepening them into learning materials. The identification of Islamic aspects in the curriculum provides insights into essential elements reflecting Islamic values in the structure and objectives of learning. However, an in-depth analysis of learning materials reveals the need for adjustments to ensure richer and more relevant content related to Islamic values. These findings have significant practical implications, offering concrete guidance for curriculum developers and teachers to enhance the effectiveness of integrating Islamic values in the learning process. Theoretically, this research contributes to the literature on religious education and curriculum development, providing a foundation for critical reflection on the integration of Islamic values in an education model that allows design freedom. Therefore, this research not only provides insights into the quality of integrating Islamic values in the Merdeka Curriculum but also contributes to theoretical and practical thinking in efforts to improve Islamic education in Elementary Schools.
