Pengintegrasian Nilai-nilai Multikultural dalam Materi Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah

This research examines the impact of integrating multicultural values into Islamic Religious Education on students' understanding and attitudes. The library research method is utilized to explore relevant literature sources aligned with the research objectives. Key findings indicate that the integration of multicultural values in Islamic Religious Education positively affects students' understanding of diversity and strengthens their tolerance towards cultural and religious differences. The study affirms that this approach not only enhances students' comprehension of Islamic teachings in the context of diversity but also shapes students' character to be open, inclusive, and appreciative of societal diversity. Multicultural value integration goes beyond responding to diversity as a challenge; it appreciates diversity as an enriching asset to social life. Moreover, the research highlights the positive impact of integrating multicultural values on students' social skills, assisting them in developing effective communication and interaction abilities in diverse environments. The research conclusion underscores that integrating multicultural values into Islamic Religious Education is not only a conceptually relevant idea but also a practical contribution to shaping a younger generation ready to face multicultural challenges and actively contribute to building a harmonious society. This research provides insights for the development of Islamic Religious Education curricula that are more responsive to the increasingly complex and heterogeneous social realities. The integration of multicultural values is expected to serve as a foundation for instructional approaches promoting inclusivity, enriching students' experiences, and fostering positive attitudes towards diversity in the global community.
