Abstract

The teaching of Islamic Education has undergone significant transformation with the progression of time. This research aims to review the evolution of these teaching methods and analyze the influencing factors. Through a comprehensive literature review, an exploration of traditional methods and the integration of technology in religious education is outlined. Methodological steps involved literature analysis, selection of relevant sources, and interpretation of findings. The research reveals a shift from direct teaching approaches to more inclusive and interactive methodologies. The integration of technology, changing student needs, and adaptation to social shifts play pivotal roles in this transformation. While facing challenges in preserving the authenticity of religious teachings, there exists a substantial opportunity to broaden access, develop more adaptive teaching methods, and deepen the understanding of religious values in the modern era
