Pengaruh Metode Pengajaran Dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Terhadap Prestasi Akademik Siswa di SMAN 1 Lebong

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role in shaping the character and morality of students, as well as providing a deep understanding of Islamic religious teachings and values. Effective teaching methods in PAI can have a significant effect on student achievement. However, at SMAN 1 Lebong, there has been no research that specifically evaluates the effect of teaching methods in PAI on student academic achievement. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the effect of teaching methods in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) on the academic achievement of students at SMAN 1 Lebong. A qualitative approach is used by collecting data through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results of the study show that effective teaching methods in PAI have a positive effect on students' academic achievement. Teaching methods that involve active interaction, the use of multimedia, group discussions, and the application of hands-on practice in understanding Islamic religious concepts help improve students' understanding and their academic skills. Supporting factors in the application of teaching methods include the support of adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as training and competency development for PAI teachers. However, there are obstacles such as time constraints and curricula that limit the variety of teaching methods. In order to improve student academic achievement, it is necessary to make efforts to strengthen supporting facilities and infrastructure, improve teacher training, and evaluate curriculum needs and flexibility
