Abstract

Learning is a process of effort by students to obtain a change in behavior as a whole, as a result of the students' own experiences in interaction with their environment. Every learning process is certainly expected that students get good learning outcomes, but in reality it is not as expected. Because of the low interest in learning students. Interest in learning is an encouragement in students psychologically in learning something with full awareness, calm and discipline, so that students can be active and happy to do it. This study aims to look at efforts to increase students' interest in learning. Then the purpose of this research is to find out the learning interests of students. To find out the obstacles in increasing students' learning interest. To find out the teacher's efforts to increase student learning interest. This study uses qualitative methods, data collection techniques using surveys. The results of the research show that the results of students' learning interest are less than what is expected. Due to the method of delivering learning material that is less creative and innovative to increase student learning interest. So the teacher must have an effort to increase student learning interest.
