Memperkuat Pondasi Iman: Pendidikan Agama Islam Di SMAN 9 Kaur Kabupaten Kaur Provinsi Bengkulu

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic religious education at the high school (SMA) level in strengthening the foundation of students' faith. The research method used includes literature studies and case studies. The literature study was carried out by analyzing various sources of relevant information related to Islamic religious education at SMA 9 Kaur, Bengkulu Province. The results show that Islamic religious education in senior high schools has a vital role in shaping student character, strengthening the foundations of faith, and facing modern challenges. The discussion also reveals the importance of a good curriculum, effective teaching methods, developing academic skills and character, and creating an inclusive environment in Islamic religious education in senior high schools. In addition, challenges such as social change, limited resources, and technological developments are also the focus of discussion. However, opportunities such as advances in information technology and collaboration between educational institutions, families and communities can be utilized to improve Islamic religious education at SMA 9 Kaur Bengkulu Province. In conclusion, Islamic religious education at SMAN 9 Kaur Bengkulu Province has an important role in strengthening the foundation of students' faith, forming good character, and making them committed to Islamic religious values. To achieve maximum results, it requires commitment and cooperation from all related parties. Thus, Islamic religious education in senior high schools can have a positive impact in forming young people who have noble character and contribute positively to society.
